Orlando, Florida: The World Cheer leading Championships AKA THE WAR IN POLYESTER. Sometimes you just know a shoot is going to be fun. I did this series for NEWSWEEK. Major props to Jamie. Rah-rah. The most interesting thing about this was the cheerleaders were from all over the world. China, US, Mexico and Columbia to name but just a few. They had plenty of cheer that weekend. The winning team was actually from Miami, HA! What can I say I must live in the middle of cheer heaven.
