ALI/MIA featured on cover of Miami New Times...

The ALI/MIA has been featured this week by The Miami New Times. You can read about it’s amazing history and how it has impacted the community. This story digs into the history of “The Champ” in Miami. The ALI/MIA portfolio will be at it’s final resting place the History Miami Museum. Where it will be on dislplay until late August, 2021. Yes, you can go down to the museum and see this one of a kind hand printed photographic portfolio created by Andrew Kaufman. This portfolio is comprised of 20 silver gelatin photographs from the archives of the Louisville Courier-Journal. The project was generously supported by a grant from the Knight Foundation. The portfolio is now part of the permanent collection at History Miami Museum and is the inaugural exhibition for the museum’s new photo documentary project. The photographs from the portfolio are from this amazing book about Muhammad Ali, Picture: Muhammad Ali. This treasure trove of rarely seen images of Ali shed a new light on the the greatest sportsman the world has ever known.
